Facebook chief executive Mark Zuckerberg didn’t travel to New York’s Times Square for the company’s big day. He did it unconventionally like you’d expect a hacker would. He opened the bell remotely from the company’s Menlo Park Headquarters after Facebook employees had just finished a long, all-night Hackathon — their 31st. Nokia was expected to announce the Lumia 900 at today’s CES 2012 event, and when CEO Stephen Elop took the stage, he didn’t disappoint. The Windows Phone flagship that the US never got is finally on its way. While leaks had it being called the Nokia Ace, the Finnish company appears to be sticking with the Lumia 900 branding. Either this is the most revolutionary product of the decade, or the biggest hoax in recent memory. A California based company called Liquipel claims that it has perfected a process in which it can waterproof your iPhone or other smartphone both inside and out, without having to use a case. A pretty tall order that bears some explaining.
When I called the company for a comment on the process in which [...]
